I'm This & He's That

Seems I'm a Bloody Mary cocktail drink while
 He's a Guinness dark beer.
I'm a Jaguar XJS...and
He's a Harley Davidson
I can handle the tropics...and
He can handle the cold.

Gotta Start Somewhere

These are the sorry results of my first attempt at
lamp-work bead making.
I was going to title this post "Rabbit Pellets"
My bead results are no reflection of
how much I enjoyed the class or our instructor.
I just had to get over my fears and  jump right in
with the glass color that was given to me.
Gotta start somewhere.
I have always appreciated the skills I knew it
took to create beautiful glass beads.
Now my understanding is at an even deeper level.
So today with one of the beads I had created
I made this bracelet.
I chose to surround it with complimentary
crystals and other lamp-work beads.
I can see a new addiction starting.
Thanks for looking.

Simple & Sweet

Two years ago our dear friends
Ron & Kathy's son Matt and
Jesse & Dorothy's daughter Twylah
were married.
It's had to believe that much time
has passed by already.

So a last minute Anniversary party is in the works!
5 days ago it was a pot luck at a friends house
and about 18 people.
It is now grown to about
30 or so friends and family.
and now will be held at a club house.
It is amazing how much can get done
in such a short period of time!
Congratulations to the happy couple,
Matt and Twylah!
May you be blessed with many many more.

All Dressed Up

And no where to go.
But wait...
Jewelee does have somewhere to go.
All of the preparations have been maid.
It's February the 7th and it's time to go to the

I dressed her up in a
chocolate brown evening dress
and  accessorized
 with way too many necklaces.
Why not it's a party!

When she's all natural.
She looks like this.
Even though she initially freaked out
my husband.
He would think there was a person
standing in the room.
I think he's now gotten use to her.
She really is a great help when
I'm designing necklaces so
I can see where they lay around the neck.
I've only had her for about 5 months now.
I can't imagine not having her.
Once again a special thanks to Deb.
who is a great treasure hunter.
If it wasn't for her and her husband.
I would not have her.

And this is a dress form tag I made awhile back.

Thanks so much  for stopping by.

Creative Friday

It's been awhile Since Deb http://willnnabel.blogspot.com/
and I had a Creative Friday Day.
This by no means is to say we have not been creative.
We have. It's just the way life is sometimes
with schedules and what not.
So we decorated boxes that we cut
out using her Accucut dies.
She has a few box dies. (wink)
I made a bee box and a cupcake themed box
to go with some pieces of jewelry I have for sale
in my blog shop.

Cassanda's cake and cupcake collage sheet
is what I used for this box.
Currently not available on her Etsy.
Deb had the scrolly die .
Don't know off the top of my head who makes it.
Maybe she'll leave a message with that info.

Spellbinder oval and scallop dies were used for the window to accent it.
Prima leaves, golden silk flowers from my stash and
Deb had the cream and golden honey carnation.
Got to get some more of those!
These are addictive!
Thanks Deb for a wonderful time!!
And my extra bonus stamp I love it!
And the Pizza !
And yummy coffee!
