Queens Cache

I made this Queens Cache pouch for my PIF partner Mary Brookway in the Marie Antionette group. Branching off of Royal Purple I went with a Amethyst color theme. The bag was actually premade with the beaded trim at the bottom. I added even more beaded trim and then covered it with a pretty lace trim. Added a few ribbon flowers that I made and some other flowers, rhinestone and a butterfly accent.
Topped the front off with Pretty Pin.
On the back I put the initial "M" which was white. I then glimmer misted it for a pale lavander color. The "M" can be either for Marie or Mary which ever way she wants to look at it. I accented the letter with some sweet ribbon roses. Then filled the cache with some decorative and useful items.

A Belated Blog Thank You

To Nancy of Her Art Nest. Who had a Coffee Cup Cozy Giveaway.  I'm pretty sure I called her to thank her...but I also like to post a Thank You on my blog if and when I win something. And I did! I won this cute handmade coffee cozy. Hot! Hot! Hot! Not a problem any more. She is uber talented. Seems there is nothing she can't do. So imagine my delight to win her giveaway. So I thank you again Nance. I love it!

Baby Bottle Card

I attempted to clean my work area today and it looks like I ended up making more of a mess. I was trying to find a place for some of my scrap paper. When I saw that I had alot of pink paper already cut to just about the right size for a card. That's all it took for me to be easily side tracked. I now had to see what I could create with this (new to me) Sizzix baby bottle card die. Oh well, now there are a few less pieces of paper to be put away. I have a friend that is going to have a baby girl so she may get this card. At times I find myself somewhere between trying to make the card look nice and yet not too nice, just in case they throw it away. Played with the glimmer mist on this one too. I may still add a few more things...it seems to be the way I work. Just when I think it's done it calls out for more things to be done with it.
